- Profession? Marketer.
- Favourite Cheese? Believe it or not – feta with sundried tomotoes and olives
- Why do you do Triathlon/Multisport? Like the combination of disciplines. Real love is Adventure Racing.
- What is your most favourite event? ARC Adventure Race.
- What bike (bikes) do you ride and what would you REALLY like to ride? A blue and white MTB and a crappy old road bike. Would like a flash road bike!
- Out of the different disciplines, which is your most favourite and which one is the least favourite? Favourite is mountain biking. Road biking least favourite in triathalon. Kayaking in multisport.
- Are you coached or do you make up your own regime of punishment? Own erratic regime – although brain is definitely stronger than the body.
- Who is an athlete you admire? Any kiwi who trains hard and can take on the best in the world and win.
- Training, work, family – how do you fit it all in? No family which makes it easier. About being organised and enjoying what you do so it doesn’t feel like a chore.
- How long have you been a RAT and what do you like about the club? Since late 2008 after moved to Rotorua from Auckland. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
- On a sunny day, what do you prefer – MTB or road bike? MTB definitely – no contest.
- How many ACC claims due to sport injuries? None – touch wood.
- Most favourite riding loop (MTB or Road)? MTB – anything with Split Enz and Pondy Downhill in it.
- Most favourite run loop? Still sussing that out. Love all of the Redwoods.
- What would you do with all your spare time and money if you wouldn’t train and race and spend all of your and your wife/husband/partner/families money on sports gear you really badly need?
Books, nice house stuff, travel… - What event would you really like to do one day? An expedition length adventure race such as XPD in Aussie.
- How are you going to survive without Dale? I’m sure he’s very nice but I don’t know who he is. (Editor’s note – woopsdadaisy, we sent out the template that was made for Andrew Hiscoke
) - Any suggestions for the club? Carry on the great work. It’s such a supportive and active club.
